For heads & SENCOs
A free evening talk for your parents, from someone who has stood where your staff stand.
Zoe Aspinall taught for twenty years before her Masters in Neuroscience. She now gives a small number of schools each term a free parents' evening: Why bright children fall apart at school, what is actually happening in their brain, and why it is more fixable than most parents have been led to believe.
What your school gets
For your parents: an evening that turns your most anxious families into your most reassured ones. The talk explains the mechanics of load, regulation and the home-school gap in plain language, without jargon and without blame, and every parent leaves with something concrete to do that week. Schools host and promote the evening; Zoe brings everything else.
For your school: visible, substantive SEND engagement to show prospective and current families, and a calmer, better-informed parent body. When a child's needs are understood mechanically, meetings get easier on both sides of the table.
The free talks are limited to a handful of schools per term and are offered on one condition, agreed up front: the school promotes the evening properly to all parents, so the hall is worth everyone's time.
Staff training (INSET)
A full training day or twilight sessions for teaching and support staff, built on the Ecological Inclusion Framework: six domains, the neuroscience underneath them, and the practical classroom moves that lower load without lowering expectations. Mapped to the SEND Code, the Equality Act and Ofsted's current framework. Training is priced from £2,000 for a full day.
For independent schools there is a further, plainly commercial argument: when a placement breaks down, the school loses the pupil, the siblings, and the quiet confidence of every parent who hears about it. Training that keeps placements working pays for itself the first time it does.
